Words are fun!

Merriam-Webster's word of the day today:

martinet • \mar-tuh-NET\ • noun
1 : a strict disciplinarian 2 : a person who stresses a rigid adherence to the details of forms and methods

This dovetails nicely with my favorite Dictionary.com word of the day from December 2:

myrmidon • \MUR-muh-don; -duhn\ • noun

1 : (Capitalized) A member of a warlike Thessalian people who followed Achilles on the expedition against Troy 2 : A loyal follower, especially one who executes orders without question

I think new titles are in order at Pennsic...

I knew martinet, but how often does one get to use it in casual conversation? :P
