Is it Thursday?

Back at work, which isn't such a bad thing. Lots to do, but nothing exploded in my absence. Head and nose are still stuffy, but hacking cough has all but abated and I'm actually hungry, so those are good things.

Q wants to see Avatar in 3D tomorrow night, and then I'm going to try to get some housecleaning done this weekend as we've finally set the date for Gaymas and have much to do to get the house back in shape in time.

So I've heard. It actually wasn't something I was trilled to go see, but I've heard enough good reviews from geeky friends that I'm willing to go. Personally I'd rather go see "The Princess and the Frog" or "Nine." :) We took my mom to see "It's Complicated" while we were up over NYE.

The other two don't interest me, but I can't say enough good things about Avatar.

I didn't think a Disney film nor a Broadway musical would. :P

That's not always the case. I liked Enchanted, Aladin, Atlantis, and quite a few other Disney titles.

I thought you hated Disney on principle.

I dislike the corporation, but some of there divisions produce good things. Pixar was attached to Disney for a long time, for instance.

Well, they were bought out by them, eventually. I just figured since you don't like the brains, you wouldn't be interested in any of the entrails, either. :)

Nine was ok. The story moves a bit slowly, and the animation doesn't come close to Avatar.

All I could keep thinking was when were they going to destroy the Ring... ;-)

No, not "9," "Nine," the musical. (Hello - Broadway queen! Hee!)
