Olbermann owns Prejean

Olbermann is quickly taking the place of Jon Stewart as my favorite television commentator EVAR (after Joel McHale, of course).

And Prejean, please go away. Please. You're a lying, hypocritical, cowardly, sensationalist, money-hungry moron, and everybody knows it. Just... go.

The video wa removed from Youtube due to violation of terms of use.

I'm going to assume, though, that Olberman did the same thing that the wenches on "The View" did, and cut into the interview *after* the minute or more of Larry King badgering Prejean about the details of the settlement and her repeatedly refusing to answer, citing confidentiality.

Larry King was an ass last night, and Prejean called him on it.

You assume incorrectly. He looked at interviews she did (The View, The Today Show, Hannity, and one other, not King) and showed what a shallow, incompetent boob (if you'll pardon the expression) she is. While she stands there constantly harping that her freedom of speech has been taken away from her, she goes on 3 different talk shows hawking her new book. Huh? No one ever tried to silence her before, during or after the ordeal (and even if they did, Miss USA is a private entity, not a governmental one). And she claims it was her homophobic statements at the pageant that got her into this mess, yet it was her own actions that caused her to get fired (after being given a second chance, no less), and it wasn't teh ebil gheys that made her make a sex tape.

But Viera didn't hound her for over a minute with followup questions after she said she couldn't talk about it.

Larry King did, and for that he's an ass.

Oh, and I gotta say King was persistent, and probably should have dropped it a little quicker, but when he *did* drop it, why did she then take off her mic? He'd moved on. At that point she was being a little "inappropriate" herself (and, as mentioned below, it's not like no one else had been asking her the same question all day long).

Actually, if you watch the video of the King interview, she had already turned off her mike before it was apparent that Larry was moving on to a caller. She never heard the question from the caller.

And the only reason she was on Larry King was to harp her book. That's the only reason she (or nearly ALL guests for that matter) went on any of those shows... the publishers are the ones who set these things up. It is a pretty normal routine.

Sorry, but if she's going to go on national television to harp her book after all the bullshit she's pulled, she'd better grow a thicker skin than having someone ask her about her lawsuit that she oh-so-mysteriously dropped after she found out they knew about her sex tape. Hell, if Jon and Kate can keep doing these interviews, she'd better learn to deal with these kind of situations a little more maturely.

My only problem with Keith Olbermann is that he routinely sounds like he's about to burst into tears.

Ha! Never thought of that. :)
