Roaring like a lion indeed!


By the looks of things outside we've gotten at least 4" so far, and it's still coming down. The lights have flickered a few times (not unheard of down here), and DirecTV is out (remind me NEVER EVER EVER to get satellite TV again, EVER).

I opened the door to take a picture and this is what hit me in the face:




Here's the back porch (you can see the accumulated snow):



And here's the balcony off the bedroom (the screen door is choked with snow, and you can see the accumulation at the bottom:

We got less snow down South, but you wouldn't tell it by looking at how few staff bothered to show up for work today. Sheesh!

It's like when it rains in San Diego (which is like once or twice a year) - everybody freaks out!
