When I moved out here three years ago there was a gas station that had gone out of business before I even got here, which still stands abandoned today. Its sign was left up, and at the time they closed gas was $1.63 a gallon. Of course who dreamed we'd ever see those prices again, right? I mean, I remember the brouhaha when gas went over $2.00 a gallon, and that was back when I was in California, before I even met Q.
So today, gas here has dropped to $1.61 a gallon. I told Q that I think it's only fair that the previous owners should now be forced to re-open the gas station. Seems reasonable to me, especially since the station is aptly (or not so at the moment) named "Low Price Gas." :)
