More artwork!

Finally got the two prints I ordered from Robert Quill at Pennsic. The first is a commission he did for my friend Lucien:

The other is another random print of his that I liked (he doesn't do many men, so this one caught my eye):

Finally, if you've never seen it, I got a scanned copy of the original drawing of my device when I registered it at Herald's Point at Pennsic in 2002. It amuses me. :D

That cow is not statant -- I don't think there's a proper blazon for what it's doing, which appears to be cantering, but it's definitely not just standing there.

But as long as it passed as "statant", it's fine.

His hooves are firmly planted - that's my story and I'm sticking to it. :)

You know, someday that knitted rainbow cow I threatened you with is going to wing its way to Pride House. And showing me things like your device does not help.

Bah! That's not a device! This http://www.flickr.com/photos/karlweb/166815348/in/photostream/

is a device!

On an unrelated note, it occurred to me that the recent song I Kissed A Girl (And I Liked It) also makes sense if sung by a gay man. "I kissed a girl just to try it. Hope my boyfriend don't mind it" etc.

I always enjoyed Jill Sobule's "I Kissed A Girl," and also thought it would be funnier sung by a gay guy, but I suppose Katy Perry's works, too. :)

No question that Sobule's is by far the better song.
