Dear Annoying Person,
Please don't come into my office only to do your work on my desk. Using my pen. It's rude. Go away.
In other news, I have a doctor's appointment (finally) for this nagging cough I've had since before Pennsic. It sounds like I'm not the only one who has it around town, so I'm hoping they know what it is and can kill it DED. I'm also supposed to get a haircut tonight, but that depends on if our fabulous hairdresser can make room for both me and Q.
I am taking work home again tonight like I did last night, as my boss said he'd approve overtime since I am up to my nipples in work and have only another day to finish it all. Bah. Still, I'm hopeful I'll get most of it done and will be able to come back and train whoever is taking over for me (which, at this point, looks like no one right away - they're going to carve up my duties, plus the ones I'm doing for my boss, among several other people, but I also know they're planning on posting the position internally, so that should be interesting).
Meanwhile I trained a few days with the outgoing person in my new position, and I think it's going to work out really well over there - nice staff, nice office, and just a completely different set of work which I think will help me feel a little better about being here.
And to top it off, Joe Phillips wants to talk to me about pimping prints for him, since it's something he's never invested any time in, but I'd like to see if I can get his stuff to specific shows (Gaylaxicon and Wiscon, for starters), but also see if I can break into some Pride festivals around the country that have art exhibits. w00tness. On top of that, I'm on board with getting artwork to Conjecture and, hopefully, Gaylaxicon in October and Loscon in November.
