OK, just to show you how much of a geek I am, I saw a news story with the headline, "Doctor Who Stole Hand..." and immediately thought, "Oh no! It's The Hand of Fear all over again!" But then I couldn't figure out why the rest of the headline read, "... Is Fined $5000." It was like gibberish or something.

Then I read the story.

Heh. :)

Man. Medical schools take respect for cadavers really, really seriously. I'll bet there are people there who are dead pissed at him.

Oh, wait, you were't joking. :P

What I want to know is, what does a stripper want with a hand?

Actually, no, I don't.

That's too funny. I can just picture the hand walking around. This morning while driving to work the played the beginning of the Dr. Who theme so right before the traffic report and I freaked :)

It's always nice when our fandoms creep into our realities. ;)

You obviously haven't been watching Torchwood. My first thought was to complete the scentence: "Dr. Who Stole Hand BACK..."

I guess you are not as much of a geek like us.
Tourchwood has not hit the US yet but for those of us that can find things,my Jim being one of them. We got the whole 1st season of Tourchwood which is Capt. Jack's spin off show. Very cool you need to come up and visit and we can have a Touchwood marathon.

OBTW if you would like come up on March 15th for my Pampered Chef party and hang out after-wards and we can do the showing then.

The female version could have been a stripper, but the male version? Yeah, not so much.

There's the old Tom Lehrer song "I Hold Your Hand in Mine":

Tom introduced it at a performance at Harvard like this:

"One more love song. I generally like to include at least one or two love songs in the evening's program, partly perhaps to convince people that even at the Harvard University Graduate School, that hotbed of celibacy that I used to call home, we did have our moments. This one is a tender ballad entitled simply I Hold Your Hand In Mine."

I hold your hand in mine, dear,
I press it to my lips.
I take a healthy bite
From your dainty fingertips.

I've performed the song in concert.

Wow. I first heard that album at a friend's house, just after it first came out, half a century ago (no exaggeration). He lives a few blocks from here, according to the phone book. He used to teach math part time at UCSC, part time at Harvard.

What you can't even have the remains of a body in your house now! WTF! so does this mean that my friends will have to go to therapy and shit if i die and they do what i want them to do with my body. !?!?!?! judge can suckit!
