WTF?

Hello? Earth to Whoever Decides These Things? It's January. It's Maryland. It's 63 degrees outside. One of these things is not like the other, people!

(Then again, the Southern Californian in me says, "Mmm, mmm, good!")

P.S. Now that I'm back on LJ regularly, I expect more responses. Go more!

All I can think of is the line "orange-colored sky" from "Paper Moon." Tres bizarre.

The temperature hit double digits here today - and that's in Celcius, so we're talking about roughly 50F. I went out in my leather jacket and a short-sleeved shirt. It's supposed to be even warmer tomorrow.

63? It's chilly! Put on a jacket! ;)

I hear that New Haven, CT is having the mildest winter in years and it's freaking out the Yale students.

True, by San Diego standards, it's downright frigid. And, oddly, on Wednesday morning I had to scrape frost off the windshield, but it looks like I won't have to do that again until Valentine's Day.

It's colder than that in Santa Cruz now. And rainy too. Lucky you! I have a friend who's a visiting math professor from St Mary's College in Maryland, so I'll tell him about the mild weather back home when I see him on Monday! - Peter

In the summertime over in my neighbourhood, there's a guy that likes to jog mid-afternoon in short shorts. Like, the really tacky 70's short shorts. It would be okay if he didn't have enormous flapping manboobs that make me want to claw my eyes out and soak them in sulfuric acid.

So yeah.

WINTER COME BACK. D: D: D:

Well it better be snowing and bitter cold when I show up in Feb.
I miss that kind of weather.

I'm sure it will be. Maybe. Possibly. We'll see. Perhaps.
