Queer creativity!

Wanna see what my amazingly talented, imaginative, creative and slightly off-kilter honey did today?

Points to anyone who gets the theme:

Yes, he's insane, yes, he finished it in a day and a half, no, he didn't buy anything directly from the store (yet), and yes, we're sending pictures to the organization that inspired us. :)

P.S. If you still haven't guessed, here's a clue - our house is in rainbow colors and has been dubbed "Pride House." Figure it out. :P

Owie! I'm sure the HRC folks will love it, but goddamn.

Funny side note, I had an HRC sticker on my car and my roomie's mum asked if I was in a yacht club or regatta of some sort.

There was no way to explain it except to let a hetero know what the symbol meant. I'm sure that knowledge will spread to other heteros and we'll have to find some new covert symbol. The time has come for the Blue Feather to go mainstream. Or the Cow Spotted Tea pot. (That should keep them guessing for years.)

Ever since Ellen gave away the rainbow... sheesh!

I saw the "thin blue line" sticker and thought it was related to the leather community somehow (which, if you think about it, kind of is).

You're missing the "partners" logo, though.

Damn. It's not like my entire house is in orange and green. Nevertheless, I always liked this one:

LOL! "Special rights" indeed! :P

(And if you didn't know, the rest of the house is rainbow - the red living room, orange dining room, yellow kitchen, green office, blue guest room and purple master bedroom.)

Y'all need a curtain under the sink... get a tension rod, blue curtain and affix yellow stripes across the bottom.

If you're going to go there... go ALL THE WAY THERE :)

Looks great!

It's already being planned, although I'm thinking of putting in doors instead of a curtain. But yes, we're aware. I'm just flabbergasted that he got the painting done so fast. (Then again, he did the rest of the house in 5 days, including 2 coats of primer, so...)

Our friend Edward thought the blue was too bold... until the yellow stripes were revealed. :D

And yes, he's working on artwork. I'll scan it when he's done.

LOL! Well, the majority of furnishings in the house *are* from Ikea. :) And the blue bathroom set is, too, so you're not too far off. But yeah, add a little red, and we could be Swedish! :D

Vacationing? Now that I have a new job (and may have an even newer one soon), one of my goals is to get back to SD very soon to visit and get my stuff out of storage. :D
