Hm. I was thinking about doing something like this myself, as a way to work on my website development skills. I probably still will even though this exists.

wow only 200 for free
that would catalouge half my reffernce library (mostly art and asian)
maybe my metaphysical studies
i would so need the lifetime membership and then a lifetime to catalouge my collection
heck i have Illustrated childrens books form the 1800s with anthro art for crimaney's sake

It's interesting but 200 is too small and it doesn't offer options for mass-cataloging or badcode scanning which serious biblophiles demand. I've been using Readerware, which I highly recomend for the number of databases it queeries if nothing else, and an old CueCat scanner to catalog my books. 483 books and counting.

globetrotter turned me on to bibliophil.org.

It still has some glitches, but it's been fun. You can rate books, review them, note who you've loaned them to.....and it's FREE.
