Grrr...

You know, when you drop over $500 into your car, you'd expect they'd have actually fixed it, wouldn't you?

Yes, you would expect that. What happened?

Battery light came on again on the ride into work. I probably can't make it back there before they close, so I'll have to get up early tomorrow and take it over.

Did I mention grrrrrr?

I'd call them and let them know what happened, and ask if anyone can stay late to take a look at it when you get there. If they say no, tell them you expect to have priority when you get there tomorrow morning. Since they screwed up, they should fix it - for free, of course.

Oh they got a call as soon as I got into the office, and they said to bring it back. If they have to keep it I'm going to be irked. I'm hoping they just forgot to push the computer's reset button or something simple, but, knowing me, it won't be.

And this is the third time I've driven away from them only to have to take it back for the same issue. They don't charge me, thank goodness.

In theory yes. But I'm never surprised that when I get it back it still might be broken.

If you're (un)lucky, they'll give you a loaner that (in)conveniently will be charged to your credit card a month later. As happened to me after the electrical fault light lit-up on the way back from the mechanic, who supposededly just fixed it. In rush hour. Grrr.

only if your washing off a rubber black mark (which we can do ourselves), now-a-days, $500 for a car repair, dont even cover a few hr labour, sickening isnt it!!
