Forgive me Father, for I have sinned...

I have committed a most egregious sin today.

I did not eat a TastyKake KoffeKake before it expired and it went... moldy! :(

Please forgive me!

Je-SUS, how old was it? Those things never go bad.

Yeah really! I too thought that these never go bad!

Though it might be why you can only get them in Phila; because they have actual food content and therefore won't keep as well during long shipping. I seem to recall something like that.

Or maybe I'm just talking out of my hat...

No, no, we have them in Maryland as well, and I think I've seen them in NYC.

Yes but that's a relatively short shipping distance, plus they probably have more local bakeries, plus they do last longer than say fresh cake, just not as long as say Twinkies.

Nothing But SPAM lasts as long as a twinkie
Rocks don't last that long

Oh yes they do - they're real cake, as opposed to Twinkies which are, in fact, extruded.

Yup, to appear as if they were on a baking sheet. Those things never get anywhere near a heat source.

Oh and I bought them when I was home at Christmas so it's only been a couple of weeks. I bought six KoffeeKakes and six Chocolate Juniors. YUM! I ate the last Chocolate Junior instead.

I also miss Nestea iced tea and Archway chocolate chip icebox cookies.

You can get the icky Nestea out of a fountain at several places. I know McDonald's switched from fresh-brewed iced tea to Nestea several years ago, and I'm pretty sure there are other places that have it. Personally, I prefer *real* iced tea that has been fresh-brewed.

Shame, shame.....Think of the poor people who can't get TastyKakes, until March when their brother and his family come to visit.

I've never even heard of these things... I presume they're some kind of snack food, but other than that, I haven't got a clue what you're on about...
