The loveable little Q man

Quincy makes me laugh. We just had this phone conversation. (Note that he often engages me in an endless loop of "Why?"s to keep me on the phone as long as possible and to make us both laugh, plus he whines and plays little funny games with me whenever I say I have to go and is very reluctant to let me hang up because he likes talking to me, all of which are amusing and annoying and cute and annoying and loveable and annoying and makes me laugh.)

A: OK, honey, I really have to go now.
Q: Why?
A: Because I have to make some phone calls.
Q: Why?
A: Because it's work.
Q: Why?
A: Because I need money.
Q: Why?
A: Because I have to buy you things.
Q: OK!
A: OK, that was funny.
Q: Just as long as we're clear on why you need the money.
A: Yes, dear.
Q: OK so then I'll let you go so you can make money! I love you! Bye!

He's such a doofus. :D

Why? It brings such consternation to you it must be maintained.

And come on, you can't deny the "squee" on that is pretty high. *swallow back bile*

Good thing he's yours and not mine! Mine would go something like this:

J: OK, honey, I really have to go now.
Q: Why?
J: Because I have to make some phone calls.
Q: Why?
J: Because it's work.
Q: Why?

But it's nice to know you two are having some luck with the mostly-phone relationship. :)

When it's the only thing you have, you make each phone call count. If nothing else I've really gained an appreciation for being with him. A casual fandom friend passed away quite unexpectedly over the holidays at only 44 of what seems to be a diabetic coma, and no one knows if he even knew he had diabetes. It just makes you appreciate what you have.

Next time I see you I'll have to lend you an issue of Havoc, Inc..

I have to say I never imagined you as Chris Deck, though. pinoyboytoy I can totally see as Chester.

Compared to Quincy, yeah, I could be Deck. I'd love to read the book, as I'm sure Q would, too. :)
