(Look! A post with actual content!)
Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights I spent starting to watch Farscape (I'm on the 5th episode now) interspersed with wasting time on the computer, talking to Quincy, doing laundry, and generally being slothful, yet I still managed to go to bed way too late each and every night. Funny that.
Wednesday night was of course gaming night. We started off with seven of us playing GemQuest, but halfway through we decided it was taking too long and decided to quit (I really like the game myself and wanted to continue, but it does seem to run a little better with less people). By that time two more people had shown up anyway, so we split into two groups. Wyatt got a game of Strange Synergy going, and the rest of us played Ticket to Ride which Corby got Myke for his birthday (in a roundabout way). Very fun game, and definitely want to add that to my ever-growing wish list.
Yesterday everybody was out but me for almost the entire day, so I got in a little late and ended up leaving a little early. Got a lot of work done, though, which is always good. Work in general this week has been busy and productive, punctuated by periods of boredom (hence the several memes, quizzes and silly posts this week).
Tonight it's off to Yudi's for LYC movie night. Tomorrow I'm sure I'll go to tea and coffee, and then may head over to the Hellmouth for Annette & Karen's birthday(s) party. Sunday night I have an invitation to a housewarming, which I may or may not go to. The person hosting has been sort of neglectful towards me lately, and I'm debating if I want to confront that or not.
Next week it's a short week, then off to WDW to meet up with Quincy and Mom. Yay! Very excited. I leave Thursday morning and come back Monday evening.
I also have a wedding to go to on December 4 in Santa Ana between Baron Master Giles Hill of Sweetwater (my friend Paul Giles) and his partner, Giovanni (Joe). I'm excited they're tying the knot (and can't wait to see the Victorian Paul's been working on for eons now), but I'm leery of going alone. Sigh. This would have been such a nice event to go to with Quincy. :( As it is I don't know that I'll actually know anyone other than the groom and groom - in fact, I'm certain I won't. Maybe I'll just go up for the ceremony and duck out from the reception and go to Disneyland instead since it's like the next exit up the 5. :) (Joe, you listening? I should start my Christmas shopping anyway...)
