Rain, rain...

It rained off and on all day yesterday and into the night, and I guess into this morning as well. I enjoyed it so much. Last night I went upstairs, lit a candle, and just listened to it outside my window in the dark. Just wonderful.

I hear more is on the way, so I'm going to continue to enjoy it.

It's all fun and games until someone has to walk a dog in it.

Write that down. It'll be funnier later.

Like scout said, when you go 182 days without, it's a nice change of pace.

Temporarily, of course. I'm sure after a week of it I'd be all, "OK, I've had my fill, thanks." ;)

I completely don't understand people who don't like rain. Fundamentally different in a way I can't even comprehend. What is there to not like about something as wonderful as rain?? And to actually be baffled at the idea that someone might enjoy such a beautiful display of nature? That makes MY head explode... right after I finish shaking it in sadness and dismay.

Well it can be inconvenient to your day-to-day routine, but in a broader sense, I agree the rain should be celebrated - ESPECIALLY when you live in the desert like I do. :D

Oh...I LOVE the rain. It's been raining here too. Yesterday on the way home from work, I rolled the window down to catch some drops on my hand. The rain always is so refreshing. :D

I just open the door and let the cool air and sounds wash over me (metaphorically speaking, at least).

So refreshing to hear someone talk about rain somehow other than to complain about it.

It is the #1 thing I miss about the east coast (closely followed by Chick-Fil-A, cheesesteaks, Tastykakes, and Archway Icebox Chocolate Chip Cookies).
