Did I mention Q has a little crush on someone at the base? Aw. So cute.

Unproductive day at work. Got so much done the last two days I slacked. Bah.

Got my hair cut after work. Looks keen. Getting highlights again next month. (Sssh! Don't tell Quincy!)

Went shopping afterwards and bought underwear, a new shower curtain and tissues. Wow.

I also paid for a Sleepy t-shirt I bought on eBay. It's a girl's. Oh well.

Quincy needs to understand that when I hang up the phone it doesn't mean that I don't want to talk to him anymore. Sheesh.

Watched several damn good episodes of Deep Space Nine tonight. Daniel and I agree the combination of good actors playing such great characters is one of the things that made the show so great.

Updated my pictures on Fotki, so go check out the new stuff if you like.

Tomorrow I'd like to wash my car and finish staining my shelves before I head to LYC coffee and then Van Helsing with SDQSF. Sunday I have no plans.

Oh well. So much for getting up early. BAH!

And now, I shall have waffles for breakfast. :D

So my cousin Donna convinced my mother and sister to take a day bus trip to New York City. They hit Times Square, Madame Tussaud's, saw the site of the World Trade Center, and she called while they were eating in Little Italy before they went back home. I don't know that my mother's ever been to NYC before. Wow. I'm glad she's getting out, and it sounds like she had a good time.

Stopped off at coffee before heading to Van Helsing. For some reason Yudi decided to go study at Urban Grind instead. Such an odd boy. Afterwards I met up with Stuart for the movie, but Myke and John had already gone in, and we ended up having to go to the second theater showing it at the same time. It was a lot of fun - I especially liked the conceptualization of Frankenstein's monster. Lots of references (intentional and otherwise) to Batman, X-Men, Pirates of the Caribbean, League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and James Bond. Everyone seemed to enjoy it. Afterwards we met up with Tom and got dinner at Uno's.

Talked to Q, watching Superfag at the moment, and will probably just fiddle around online until I head to bed. Maybe tomorrow I can get something accomplished. (Then again, maybe not...)
