...what? The lead from Dark Angel is on this list? And who the #$%& is Uncle Martin and Dick Soloman? I'm insulted...

Hmm, I used to watch MY FAVORITE MARTIAN as a kid. It's more a whacky comedy and so was 3RD ROCK. I would not really list that sort of show.

Instead, how about the epynomous Brisco County Jr. which was technically interstitial but more sf than some listed? And if Ultraman is listed, why not Wildstar from STARBLZERS?

Uncle Martin was Ray Walston, a famous stage, screen and TV actor, who played many famous parts:

  1. Boothby the groundskeeper at Starfleet Academy
  2. Judge Bone in "Picket Fences"
  3. Mr. Hand in "Fast Times at Ridgemont High"
  4. Storyteller in "Amazing Stories"
  5. Pappy in "Popeye"
  6. Originated the role of Mr. Applegate in "Damn Yankees!"
  7. Luther Billis in "South Pacific"
But his most famous and longest-running role was that of Uncle Martin in "My Favorite Martian" who was an alien living with Bill Bixby who passed him off to people as his eccentric uncle. Sadly, he passed away in 2001. Brilliant actor.

Dick Soloman was played by John Lithgow in the sitcom "3rd Rock From The Sun" who was the leader of a group of four aliens who pose as humans to learn about them. He played it deliciously over the top, and the supporting cast (Jane Curtin, Kristen Johnston, French Stewart, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Wayne Knight, Jan Hooks, and a few episodes with William Shatner as The Big Giant Head) was hysterical.

And yeah, what the frell is Dark Angel doing on there? BLEARGH!

This was greatest, not hottest. Silly. (If that were the case, Harry Kim would be there somewhere, at least on MY list.)

The only correct ones:
23) Ultraman (1966)
22) Doctor Who (1963-89)
14) Robot (Lost in Space, 1965-68)
6) David Vincent (The Invaders, 1967-68)
4) George Jetson (The Jetsons, 1962-63)
3) Uncle Martin (My Favorite Martian, 1963-66)
1) Rod Serling (The Twilight Zone, 1959-64)

only TOC ST counts...

I'll take Mulder, and even MST3K, but not Dark Angel. And yes, some significant missing pieces, as you listed.

Our lists would obviously be different - "Blake's 7," "Red Dwarf," "The Tomorrow People..."

God I'd have no idea. Check Amazon, or your local media fan convention. :)

Jane Badler made it. I'm happy. Such an underrated sci-fi villain.

I don't think she rated as high as she got, though.
