Big Fish

Had a good cry watching Big Fish last night with Q. I guess you could say my dad was a big fish, too.

Not a dry eye in the theater when Jen and I went to go see this with a couple of friends of ours. Even I got a little misty-eyed.

I should have brought kleenex.

I'm glad I did. Well, that and Q's sleeves. :)

He's so good to me.

Well...mixed and confusing storyline aside...even the end made ME a little misty...only a little...well...I thought about getting misty...I was moved anyways...yeah.

Hey!! I cried when the union soldiers shot and killed Twosocks in Dances With Wolves. I got teary when the HOT HOT HOT son was shot and killed in The Last Samurai, and when the mouse got squished in Green Mile...I had to get a kleenex. SO BUGGER OFF!! =P

Has our tin man finally gotten his heart? (And eating a still-beating one after having ripped it from the chest of your defeated foe doesn't count!)

Seriously, having been through it, and having had a "big fish" of a father (even though I didn't identify with the son's not knowing his father), and really wanting to wake up one day and see my father better and being able to take him out of that hospital... well, needless to say, I'm surprised I made it to the credits before bawling.

Re:
It was a decent movie, even without me weeping. :)
