Well there goes that nice smile of mine...

Well holy living fuck.

I just lost a tooth.

A whole tooth.

An entire tooth.

I knew it was bad, but I didn't think it was THAT bad.

For the record, it's one of my canines.

I am surprised I am taking this so well, because it's right in my smile line and you can't help but see it.

Fuck.

Re: EEEP!
I had had a root canal done on it years ago but never got a permanent filling in it. Then it got a cavity, but I've been keeping an eye on it and it was next on my dental list of things to do (and going to the dentist doesn't bother me, but the last time I went to get a check-up and go an estimate of all the work I need done, it was about $3K, and that was AFTER my insurance coverage). I never thought it was going bad both inside and out at the same time, so here I am eating a sandwich and I get this weird feeling in my mouth, and next thing you know I spit out a tooth. An entire tooth (well, from the gumline down). No blood, no pain, but now this means I'm going to have to get an implant. BAH!

All the more incentive to have it replaced with a much larger version and begin vamp larping. Don't like someone, hiss at them menacingly and watch their eyes. hehehe, I may have to do this myself.

Eeeeek! This is one of my recurring nightmares, literally -- I keep having these dreams where my teeth start coming loose and falling out, one by one.

Yikes yikes yikes.

Fortunately I'm blessed with having zero problem with dentists and having my teeth worked on (although obviously I don't get it done enough). I had a great dentist back home my whole life.

Now, try to draw blood for a blood test, and I'm out like a light. Can't handle that.

Hell, I'm waiting for the day I get real dental insurance and can get them ALL taken out and replaced with plastic and porcelain. Teeth are a pain in the ass...

Implants or false teeth? My dad always looked dippy with his uppers out. :)
