That's a long, strange trip indeed!

OK, so urban_bohemian posted about the "America I AM" exhibit at the National Geographic Museum, and I realized I'd never been there, so I followed the link on their address page to get directions.

I swear on Quincy's life1, this is exactly what Bing gave me for directions:

Closeup on the Annapolis leg (which, besides the obvious, also isn't anywhere near downtown DC):

I believe I may submit this to Failblog.

1Well, you'd need to take that a little more seriously than you would normally, I suppose...

Perhaps Bing thinks my car needs to be washed?

Well, sod Bing and the sodding sod they sodded in on.

Google Maps is obviously far superior.

Nice!
Better drive carefully, looks like some pretty sharp turns.

Re: Nice!
The Ion has a pretty good turning radius, so I think we're good. Question is, though, does it float? :)

Wow. at least when Google Maps gives you a trip across the ocean, they suggest jet-skiing.

The written directions were entirely accurate, and do not at all reflect the line drawn by some kind of spasming Liza program.

Hey you! Been meaning to THANK YOU for the neat card! :D It's on our fridge now.

Also found someone using one of your pieces here on LJ as an icon - are you generally cool with that?

Oh yeah icons are fine; personal or religious use is good by me.

And you're welcome. Happy Groundhog Day!
