There's a difference between being able to express your opinion and having people disagree with your opinion; the latter does not negate the former. Neither have anything to do with your first amendment rights unless a governmental entity is involved.

OK, I just opened up LJ, and this is the first thing I saw.

Do I need to keep my eyes open for something, or is this on a different topic?

Somewhat SCA personalities related, but a completely different one, I assure you. :) It also applies to a lot of people I know online anyway who cry, "You disagree with me, so therefore you must be trampling my first amendment rights to free speech!" So many things wrong with that argument...

When have you ever cried foul? You've gone out of your way to point out to others in your LJ that you want a free exchange of ideas.

The others, however, are some of the ones I'm referencing here. CRY MOAR.

i would ask which ones but honestly i think everyone in that conversation has kinda gone CRY MOAR. which is sad.
